Alexandra + Brett… so many things I love about them already! And we just met! Such a dream when you are lucky to have those kind of clients, that even from the first chat, and you can just tell you are going to click, it truly makes this SO MUCH FUN! And when I tell you it doesn’t feel like work, I mean that! Alexandra and I have so many things we kept laughing about regarding style. She is a neutral loving girl like myself, and I mean… look at their outfits! Could they be any classier? Winter engagement pictures can be so incredibly classy with the cute wool coats, and fun shoes.

Regardless of the fact that it was near freezing temps, and the fact that a snow squall hit right as we finished, we had the absolute best time walking all around downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We started at Strawbery Banke, which is such a magical place, especially in the winter in my opinion. The left over twinkle lights, and Christmas greenery lying around, the ice skating rink with the fireplace in the middle of it, and the clusters of snow along the roads. Just so beautiful! After we strolled through there, we walked along some of the streets with the beautiful brick homes. I always tell people who haven’t been here before, that Portsmouth is kind of like a mini Boston. Very mini! LOL! Lots of New England charm for sure. We walked over to the bridges and docks, and ended with a grand finale there.

While we could have hung out longer, we all decided that it was time to warm up our frozen fingers and toes, and fill our bellies with some hearty winter dinner and drinks! I love when couples make a date night out of the engagement session night! All dressed up, and getting pictures done is such a fun reason to celebrate!

Alexandra + Brett… I am so excited for October! You two were so much fun, and these pictures will always be some of my favorites!
