Stanford + Aleks… what an absolutely FUN and HAPPY couple!
When Stanford inquired about me being available to capture him proposing to his girlfriend Aleks, he was so happy, and I was so impressed how he had literally thought of everything! The way he spoke of Aleks, you could just hear in his voice how much he wanted to make all of her dreams come true. He has such a caring, motivated personality, and wanted this day to be perfect. He was doing all of his homework, and I was just so taken aback at how thoughtful he had been throughout all of our planning.
The day came, and a heavy storm system happened to blow in and it was windy and you could feel the rain about to erupt. Stanford held onto his plan, and we crossed all of our fingers and toes that we could get the proposal done before the sky completely opened up! And we made it! We met at Aleks’s favorite beach, Fishermans Beach in Nantucket. When they arrived I saw them walk down towards the water, and it didn’t take long for him to get down on one knee. Aleks’s joy was contagious, and we had so much fun excitedly jumping around on the beach. Aleks could not stop laughing and trying to figure out how he had planned the whole thing, it was priceless!
We ended our time over at the Wauwinet where Stanford had gotten them a room, and walked out to the dock to snap a few pictures before the sky opened up! The staff at the Wauwinet were so kind, and so sweetly shared in their excitement by giving them glasses of champagne to celebrate.
Aleks and Stanford, you two are so adorable, and your love is contagious! I have no doubt you two will have the most beautiful wedding day! Best wishes for all of the excitement and fun planning ahead!
Joyfully,
Melissa
