The Barn at Merry Hill Wedding | Lyndsy + Tripp

Weddings

Is there anything more magical than a wedding during Christmas time in the snow? Cozy, festive, candle lit, snow flurries, twinkle lights, delicious food, and friends and family there to celebrate your love… it doesn’t get any better!

When Lynsdy first inquired this fall and we chatted, I immediately loved the way she was so calm, clear, and simultaneously confident and easily communicative from the beginning. Lyndsy + Tripp were having a short engagement, because they both knew that they were ready to spend forever together, and end 2024 as husband and wife.

They currently live in Georgia, where they met, but traveled north to New Hampshire where Lyndsy was from to get married. Tripp is from the south, a true southern gentleman, and I loved him from the beginning. He was so kind and easy going, but also strong and protective, and watching the two of them together I marveled at what a perfect match they were in personality. They were surrounded by around 80 guests including Tripp’s precious daughter Liza, who wore a matching white fur coat with Lyndsy. Absolutely adorable! The weather was in true New Hampshire form in December, and was chilly outside and we had both natural flurries and some man made ones on Saturday.

The Barn at Merry Hill was absolutely stunning, so well laid out and was both spacious and cozy. The girls had the most beautiful getting ready room, and the guys had the coolest getting ready house right next to the venue with a fireplace and even an indoor putting green. The owners of The Barn at Merry Hill also own Tuckaway Tavern, so the food was off the charts delicious, and all of the guests from the south quickly approved! As the sun went down, the twinkle lights on the trees outside, the fire pits roaring, and the heat lamps made it feel like a winter wonderland. Lynsdy + Tripp even had an Espresso bar, which was so neat, and after dinner guests could warm up with some coffee. Lyndsy had shared with me the sweet story that growing up, her parents always had coffee after dinner, I love that!

Lyndsy and Tripp danced their first dance to “Can’t Have Mine (Find You A Girl)” by Dylan Scott and it was absolutely perfect. They had practiced a dance together, and it was so sweet, they both did amazing! So much love, and I love that Tripp wore his cowboy hat! So cool 🙂

Lyndsy + Tripp thank you for having me be apart of your special day. Truly a stunning day all around, and I can still feel the love that was radiating so evidently. Hope to see you in New England again soon!

Joyfully,

Melissa
