Sarah and I go wayyyyy back to our days as teachers at Park Street School in Boston, Massachusetts where we were instant friends. And I am so glad we’ve stayed in touch as we both got married and had all of our babies. She is SO much fun, like probably the most fun Mom ever, I am sure of it, so kind, and is just one of those people you can’t get enough of. And speaking of babies, Sarah + Joel just welcomed their fourth little one and final member of the family this week. Margaret Carolyn Cohen was a bright spot in this unique year. Headed down to Salem, Massachusetts to meet the Buttimer family this week! Big sister Addison was the cutest, and bubbliest little girl who nearly stole the show! She was so attentive, and helpful as we took some pictures of her new baby brother Grayson. He is the kind of baby boy that is just so darn handsome. He slept and ate, and was just super chill the whole time. You could feel the love between Mom + Dad, and know without a doubt that these two children are, and will be dearly loved forever!
I went down to meet little baby Hazel yesterday, and was greeted by the sweetest, most proud big sister I have ever met to date! Claire was just bouncing around the house telling me all about her new sister. She was so cute, and so fun, she just captivated me, and I almost forgot I was there to take some newborn pictures! Mom + Dad are two of the calmest, kindest parents I have had the pleasure of working with and are settling into this whole new 2 kid thing effortlessly. Those two girls have a warm, secure, joyful home to grow up in. It was a pleasure to be in their home and marvel at this new little miracle with them.
I just think it is so amazing when couples are able to be surprised on the gender of their baby at the birth! I was so excited to be able to witness Ellie’s birth at Newton- Wellesley Hospital, and made it in just the nick of time at nearly midnight. Justin and Lisa are proud parents to Isaac and William, and were more then happy to welcome either another boy or perhaps a little girl to the family. And I think much to their surprise it was a GIRL! She is the perfect cherry on top to their family, and has two amazing big brothers to guide her. Congratulations to the Grant family, she is just precious. Bring on the tutu’s and tea parties!
Oh the McGovern family! If you have followed me for any amount of time, you will be able to see how their family has grown, with two darling little boys. Leo made his arrival a few weeks ago at Portsmouth Hospital in Portsmouth, NH, and they have been settling in as a family of four ever since at their home in Hampton, NH. They make parenting too little ones look like a breeze, and they’re just so calming to be around. Big brother Nolan was one proud brother, reading baby stories, and flying around the room showing us all kinds of things. Leo will never lack entertainment! Congratulations again, he is just a sweetie.
