Chase and Ashley……I can’t even… the cutest couple… when she descended down the long wooden staircase down to the beach in that pale yellow dress, and Chase, such All American guy… my heart melted! Thankfully my camera did not, because just look at HOW CUTE they are together!

When Chase first contacted me 6+ MONTHS before his proposal (seriously what a great guy!), he made me instantly smile and laugh, because he was just the sweetest… so happy and easy going, was laid back about his plan for his proposal, yet he also had a clear vision in mind. Chase knew that it would be Labor Day weekend that he wanted to propose, and that the trip they were taking allll the way from Newport Beach, California and Dallas, Texas…would be the perfect time and place. It ended up being a gorgeous, FULL SUN kind of day, and we had the best weather weekend ever. We met up at Steps Beach, a couple hours before sunset so that he could finally ask the girl of his dreams to be his wife. Ashley was absolutely gorgeous in her yellow dress, beautiful smile and sunny personality.

Chase walked a little ways down the beach, I sneakily followed them, and then ducked in the tall seagrass, and then ran behind a couple sitting under an umbrella on the beach to capture it all HAHA. He dropped to one knee perfectly, and it was laughter, tears, smiling, hugs + a lot of kisses the rest of my time with them. We managed to snap some cute engagement pictures amidst all of the excitement and joy before they headed to The Galley Beach restaurant to celebrate after. They were gorgeous and SO sweet and giggly together! I love connecting with my couples on instagram, and I simply can’t wait to follow along and see how the wedding goes for these two cuties! It will be stunning I am sure of that!
