Jake and Shaylin had the most beautiful, intimate, family oriented Cape Cod wedding at The Great Gatsby house in Chatham, Massachusetts at the end of June. This particular time of year is what everyone envisions when they see pictures of a Cape Cod summer wedding. Countless beautiful flowers exploding, especially the hydrangeas, and all of the climbing roses are in full bloom. Red, white and blue all over, and American flags everywhere. It is the perfect time to have a dream Cape Cod wedding! I tell everyone that late June/ early July, is when it is all in full bloom… literally everywhere you look… it is overwhelmingly beautiful in both sight and smell in the best way!

Shaylin was the happiest, bubbliest, most fun bride ever! I could have hung out with her all day! Just look at her contagious smile… it says it all! Jake was such a calm, steady and strong balance, and his zen was what we all needed! They truly were the most balanced, easy going, adorable couple, and I just loved watching them interact.

They had their wedding at The Great Gatsby house, which true to it’s name, had so much elegance and history. A beautiful venue to host family and friends for an elegant wedding in Chatham, Cape Cod. The ceremony was held on the front lawn over looking the ocean, and was incredibly serene and peaceful. We managed to sneak down to the beach, amidst the wind, and I am so glad we did! Jake and Shaylin nailed every quick picture we did, and we all were laughing at the wind, and the weather that day. Weather can turn quickly when you are right on the water, and I am so glad the day turned out to be okay!
