HO HO HO! I was SO thrilled when Jessie reached out to me for some last minute pictures in time for Christmas, and before baby #3 arrives. We had an unseasonably warm December day, so we hopped over to Hampton Beach State Park in Hampton, New Hampshire for some fun and to sneak in some portraits to document this sweet season in their family! They are expecting baby #3 in February, and whether this baby is a sweet brother, or a little sister, one thing is for sure, it will be surrounded by love, and welcomed into one of the warmest, most loving families I have ever worked with! I am just going to put my guess in here, but I think GIRL!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I love the Christmas Tree farm Mini’s that I do every year, and just love the classic look that each session produces. We all love those Christmas card photos, and this round of Mini Sessions each year does not disappoint. And add in that golden hour glow, and you’ve got perfection!
Meet the Parrish family. I met them over at Wagon Hill Farm in Durham, New Hampshire, on a gorgeous fall evening last week. We had lots of sunshine right at golden hour, but also lots of wind! When they walked up I thought, goodness, they are one of those families who should be in a magazine! Not only were they absolutely beautiful, Colt and Callie were the sweetest sibling pair with the happiest little spirits. Both just smiled and despite the wind were just precious. And Mom + Dad, still have a sweet spark that the pictures clearly show. What a lovely, lovely family.
These pictures from the other night needed a permanent place on my blog because it was just a random evening where my husband and his brothers, along with their wives and kids and I met up at Hampton Beach State Park in Hampton, New Hampshire because it was 75 degrees on a November evening! It sure felt good to feel the sand between our toes, and feel that warm breeze. And some of the kids (who clearly are born and raised New Englanders)… thought it was also warm enough to swim! Brrr! My sister in laws really have been there from the start of my photography business, letting me learn to use a camera with their families, and these kids are still my favorite subjects. 9 blonde haired, blue eyed little cousins all within 8 years!
I look forward to Fall Mini Sessions every year! It is so fun to see how much kids have grown in just a years time, and to see my returning families year after year, and to hear all the life updates and stories that go with them. 2020 was a unique year for us all, and it was so good to see families still connected, still smiling, and still HAPPY together through all of the hurdles Covid brought into our lives. The families pictured below are real, wholesome, happy, and have a light that shines through it all. I love each and everyone of them!
Oh the Goldberg family! They are just as sweet as they are absolutely adorable. I love getting to see my friend Amanda and her kids every year when we do some family photos! She is the kindest soul, the best Mama, and the world is brighter with her in it. And when my husband sees their session each year, he reminds me that Harry has the most awesome beard ever! Ha ha! Love this family!!
