Erin and Zack… the words just fall short… I have wanted to blog this session since August, but it is just so over the top gorgeous, that it is like I just sit and stare at these portraits frozen in awe. But, I am catching up this winter on some beautiful work from last year, and I can’t not share this beautiful engagement session. Simply stunning!

Erin had a vision when she inquired, and I could not have been more excited to meet them and bring it to life. She and Zack absolutely nailed these pictures, just look at them both…so so adorable.

Erin… complete heart of gold, absolutely stunning, kind, playful, intelligent, and elegant, all in one. And Zack, he is like so cool when you meet him, but you just want to be his friend. So friendly, and fun. The love he has for his family and friends gives you that immediate admiration and glimpse into his heart as well. But… do you know what makes this session absolutely pop? L O V E. The love that these two share is palpable and genuine. Anyone who spends time with them, like I did, will agree. The way that they interacted this day that we met for pictures has me just smiling as I type and insert the portraits into this blog post. It was the ease that they had with the other that I noticed instantly, and the genuine playfulness and happiness that made this session so much fun. All just so natural.

We started our session on a perfect August evening, at Chatham Beach and Tennis Club, because both the town of Chatham, as well as the sport of tennis, mean a lot to Erin and Zack. Some of that is because Zack grew up spending summers here at his grandparents home, coining the house “Chatham Nana’s.” And the two of them both love playing tennis. Erin found the cutest vintage tennis rackets, and we had so much fun taking pictures on the courts! For part two of our time together, we went down to the private beach in front of Nana’s house, and played around down there too as the sun was setting. I can not stop looking at these and thinking what a great time we had! The couple, the setting, the outfits and the thoughtfulness of these two made for a perfect Chatham engagement session. What a joy it was to be with them on this perfect Cape Cod summer evening!

Enjoying these a little extra on a day when I am looking out my window with 6″ of snow coming down, and up to 2 more feet predicted in the next week! Stay cozy everyone!
