Talk about a fun loving, and absolutely gorgeous couple! This engagement session, which happened to be at one of my favorite Cape Cod beaches, was an absolute blast! They came so well prepared, with incredible outfits and fun props…and best of all the most relaxed, and natural way about them, that made my job of capturing them so easy.

I first met Marissa last year at The Greenery in Milton, New Hampshire when she was a bridesmaid for a 2023 bride of mine…beautiful Emma! That bridal party was so much fun, and was the sweetest, most beautiful group of ladies. So when Marissa reached out to see if I was available for her 2025 wedding, I already knew I would love her! I remembered her already, and was flattered she would ask me to begin with.

Marissa is absolutely gorgeous, incredibly creative in her artistic abilities, and her style is unmatched. She is a NICU nurse in Boston, and I am sure that her loving and caring nature is such a gift to that unit. Matt is pretty adorable too haha. Talk about a happy, easy going guy. I don’t say this about all future grooms, but Matt truly was such a trooper! I dare say he even had a little fun with all of our ideas! Legend has it he is a mustache guy, and decided to surprise Marissa the night before with that clean shaven look for pictures. What a guy!

We met up in Dennis, MA at the beautiful Chapin beach, on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Not gonna lie, I did not realize at the time this was a holiday weekend when we booked the engagement session. I was not sure how crowded it would be since we landed the warmest, sunniest weekend of the year yet. It was absolutely gorgeous. We had mostly sunny skies, a nice breeze and a beach with hardly anyone there! It was dreamy. Everything was feeling too good to be true I think for both Marissa and myself! The 3 of us played in the water, the sea grass, the rocks and next to the dunes and got some pretty amazing pictures! They had cute Cowboy hats because of their shared love of Texas, and has the cutest champagne toast way out in the ocean where the ocean had receded. It was gorgeous and epic, and hanging out with them makes me even more excited for next September at their Cape Cod wedding!

Congratulations again Marissa + Matt, you two are CUTE!
